When I became disillusioned with Christianity and realised the stupidity of it, for a long time my heart was closed to ALL things religious or related. I even teetered on atheism.
In my heart of hearts I knew there had to be something but what? As my eyes became more and more open, I went from viewing Christianity as “silly” to outright dark and evil. What of Jesus though? Surely he spoke some sense and promoted love and kindness? Ah but no because he is connected to the Old Testiment God…Actually, he IS the Old Testiment God, right? Oh well, screw it! It’s all nonsense!
Then I began to wonder, what if Jesus was nothing to do with all that? What if his God is someone else? What if the psycho God of the OT is the devil? What if everything is the wrong way round? Is there anyway to reinterpret everything I thought I knew?
It turns out, yes! Follow me down this rabbit hole.
